The Manor House at Green Spring Gardens
Looking for Afternoon English Tea?  Or, are you in need of Tea Accessories?

The Historic Manor House at Green Spring Gardens was built in 1784 by John Moss and offers afternoon English Tea and fascinating programs throughout the year.  Deborah Waugh, House Coordinator and native of Scotland, is a charming convivial hostess. Groups may contact the Manor House to reserve a private tour of the gardens followed by Tea or to attend a program on Tea Tasting where you learn about the subtle nuances of flavor and familiarize yourself with the lingo of tea.   Other tea programs discuss Teatime Accessories or Tassels and Tea along with specialty teas such as their Scottish Afternoon Tea, Valentine's, and Mother’s Day Tea. All of the tea programs are followed by a sumptuous English tea to include delicate and delicious finger sandwiches, assorted pastries, as well as traditional scones, cream and jam.

Bridal Shower Teas are also offered with first a lighthearted history of bridal traditions followed by the full English Tea. Cost for these programs is $32.00 per person and is well worth the price. (Prices are subject to change over the years.)Tea for Brownies is a special program where the young ladies learn proper table etiquette while enjoying tea and cake and a reduced and affordable rate. They also go home earning their Manners Try-It Badge
