Keith Steury holds a Professional Diploma from L'Academie de Cuisine's Culinary Arts Program, a Certificate of Achievement from the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the University of Virginia in Information Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Mary Washington College (now the University of Mary Washington).
In 2006, he graduated with honors and first in his class from the professional culinary arts program at L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Most recently, Keith honed his culinary skills at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City. He left to start the food sherpa, his own personal chef business. The Food Sherpa is licensed and fully insured. Keith is certified by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals as a Food Safety Manager. In addition, Keith has been a member in good standing of the American Personal & Private Chef Association (APPCA) since April 2007.
