ANNANDALE FALL FESTIVAL PARADE LITHOGRAPHS
In 2002, Pat Sawhney, a past President and Director of the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, and her husband, had first seen Helen Jean Smith’s work while visiting Woodstock, VA. They invited her to visit Annandale, and to take photographs of the village. They also provided her photos of past Fall Festival Parades. Helen went to work creating a stunning painting and lithographs. The original was unveiled at the 2003 Holiday Lighting Celebration Dinner at Magill’s Restaurant.
You have an opportunity to own one of the 300 signed and numbered Annandale prints by this artist, who is well known in Virginia and the East Coast. Smith specializes in rendering portraits of America’s most picturesque towns & villages in a contrived primitive style. Her townspeople have captured life as it may have been in friendlier, less complicated times. For information or purchase, contact Pat Sawhney at firstname.lastname@example.org
